Alaska's minimum wage is set at $7.15 per hour and will be adjusted for inflation beginning January 1, 2004. Overtime pay is flexible; those employees choosing to work a 10 hour day, 40 hour workweek schedule will be rewarded overtime pay after 10 hours worked in a day. Those employees choosing to work an 8 hour day, 40 hour workweek schedule will be rewarded overtime pay after 8 hours worked in a day. Overtime pay is only applicable to employers with four (4) or more employees.
