The basic minimum wage for Georgia is set at $5.15 per hour; this is applicable to employers with six (6) or more employees. Coverage under Georgia's law is not granted to an employment subject to the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act when the Federal minimum wage surpasses the State minimum wage.
