Montana adopts the Federal minimum wage rate by reference and does not contain current dollar minimums. Based on a 40 hour workweek, the minimum wage rate is set at $5.15 per hour. However, for those businesses with a gross annual sales of less than $110,000 the State minimum wage is $4.00 per hour.
