Washington's minimum wage is set at $7.63 per hour based on a 40 hour workweek. Overtime pay is not applicable to those employees who request compensating time off in lieu of overtime pay. Beginning January 1, 2001 and thereafter, the minimum wage will be adjusted for inflation. Federal regulations for overtime apply.
